Rie Matsumoto, an award-winning glass and acrylic etching artist, founded Rie Glass in Japan almost 20 years ago. Her original art is hand-etched using self-developed diamond-tipped pens. In recent years, she has expanded her portfolio to monochromatic murals. Her art has been featured in many prestigious museums, hotels, galleries, and magazines. Incorporating her unique techniques and playful personal touches, her classes and exhibitions are being held all over Japan.
Every year, thousands of people visit her New Year's Holiday Exhibition at the RIHGA Royal Hotel Gallery Osaka.
